Open to students in Primary 6 &
7, the project encompasses a range
of subjects from English (written &
oral), art, mathematics and drama.
The project works well with
citizenship, teamwork and consumer
rights. It covers the four capacities of
the Curriculum for
Excellence by encouraging more learning through experiences.
Primarily class based, tutors
will visit your school on three
separate occasions. In addition,
there is a specialty day in each
of the regions where students will
hear from a host of experts,
including members of the judiciary
and Police Scotland. The
intermediary trials run in the
evenings, in a real court, before
a real judge.
The project is for all,
irrespective of each student's academic
abilities. The roles include,
solicitors, journalists, artists
and even gown makers.
