IMPORTANT: The event is hosted and operated by The School Mock Court Case Project SCIO (The Host), a Scottish Registered Charity. The school
making this application (The School) will be at all times responsible for their students and ensure the a minimum adult student ratio of 1 to 10 is applied at all times. The School
will ensure the behaviour of the participating students is exemplary at all times and adhere to The Host's strict policy of zero consumption of alcohol, drugs (other than prescribed
and legal in the UK) and tobacco. The School will ensure they have the necessary visas (where applicable) to enter and stay in the UK and parental consents for the students to
travel, take part and be photographed or filmed. The School is responsible for the movement of students from their hometown to either Edinburgh or Glasgow (as determined by The
Host), including all fees, permits, visas and consents.The School will ensure that all students and teachers have sufficient insurance at all times (including travel and medical
insurance). The Host accepts no responsibility for property claims, personal injury claims, or claims for any medical treatment costs. The School will ensure all students fully
partake in the programme and accept responsibility for any damage or loss occasioned by their students, teachers or chaperones, whether by their action or failing to act and fully
indemnify The Host and their representatives. Accommodation in Scotland will be provided on a room share, single sex basis. Adults and students will not be permitted to share
rooms.
